From the moment you meet him, Brian’s gentle manner puts you at ease. He has the ability to relate to everyone from small children to distinguished veterans and everyone in between.
The correct lighting is one of the main elements in creating a photographic work of art. Knowing just the right moment to click the shutter is another. Brian has mastered these skills to ensure that your portrait is everything you imagined and more.
Brian is Certified in Lighting by the Illumating Engineering Society. He has also received National Accreditation in Portraiture, Boudoir and Glamour by the Professional Photographers of Canada (PPOC). His images have received many Accolades of Excellence by the Wedding & Portrait Photographers International, and have been exhibited provincially by the PPABC and nationally by the Professional Photographers of Canada.
Brian holds the title of “Distinguished Member of the International Society of Photographers”. He the recipient of the “Certificate of Merit” from The Royal Canadian Legion, the highest honour bestowed to a non-member, for his project “Lest We Forget – The Veterans’ initiative”, a project he started whereby he has been photographing the remaining WWII veterans and supplying them with an 8×10 print.
He spent four years as Chairman of the Professional Photographers’ Association of British Columbia (PPABC), Lower Mainland Region, and is the past Provincial Vice-President of the PPABC.
Brian received the title of Entrepreneur of the Year, 2005 and was named Business Person Of The Year, 2007. Most recently, he was nominated for Best Customer Service, 2009.
Brian is working with The Royal Photographic Society to create and establish the first Canadian Chapter of the RPS whose members number is over 11,000 throughout the world.
